Where do Bedore Niagara Falls sightseeing and group tours pick-up?
We pick up at the hotels, motels, and campgrounds in Niagara Falls, USA for all of our tour departures. We do not pick up in Canada. If you are not staying in the area you can pick up the bus tour at the Howard Johnson’s Hotel, 454 Main Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14301.
Does the Maid of the Mist Boat ride operate year round?
No. There is too much ice and snow in the winter. When the boat is not in operation, we substitute admission to the Journey Behind the Falls, an awe-inspiring walk back behind the Horseshoe Falls. The Maid of the Mist season typically begins in Mid-Spring to late October. Our sightseeing bus tours are available April to October.
How far in advance do I need to make reservations?
We recommend making your sightseeing tour reservations at least one week prior to arrival to guarantee the tour and departure time of your choice. We do accept reservations up until the time of departure on a space-available basis.
Does your tour from NYC operate year round?
Our One Day Tour from New York City is available all year.
Do you still go on tour if the weather isn't great?
We run rain or shine! There's always a little mist in the air around Niagara Falls, so we don't really notice any raindrops!
Are your tours appropriate for children?
Our Niagara Falls sightseeing tours are designed for the entire family. The guides are knowledgeable, fun and entertaining, and really make everyone feel comfortable! From the stories of the daredevils going over the Falls, to the real life "miracle of Niagara", everyone will find their tour to be an enjoyable and relaxing experience. The Maid of the Mist has no age restrictions, and it's a blast for kids and adults!
Are strollers permitted on the tour?
Absolutely, as long as it is an umbrella type stroller.
Can I bring a camera/video camera?
Absolutely. When enjoying the Maid of the Mist boat ride, Cave of the Winds trip or Journey Behind the Falls, you may want to bring along a plastic bag to protect your electronics. You'll get some great photos and when it's too wet on the Maid of the Mist boat ride or another Niagara Falls attraction, just wrap up the camera and you're good to go!
Are there any extra fees not included in the tour price?
No, all sightseeing tours are inclusive of taxes and fees. Our tour guides work very hard throughout the tour to insure a great Niagara Falls experience. If you appreciate their efforts, you can recognize them with a gratuity. It is customary to tip guides 15% if you have completely enjoyed your tour experience.
Is there a lot of walking on your sightseeing tours?
Our All-American Adventure has the most walking, and involves stairs on the Cave of the Winds Trip. The rest of the tours feature relatively short distances with little or no stairs. There are plenty of benches throughout the parks during the tour, so if someone in your party doesn't want to participate in everything, they don't have to. If you have any concerns, please call our office at 1-800-538-8433.
